How to Disabled USB Port In Windows XP
From Wikipedia.org, Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a serial bus standard to interface devices to a host computer. Many peripherals can connect to computer, such as Flash Disk, Card Reader,keyboard, mouse and many others peripherals. in the USB, there is Plug n Play fiture.
But many viruses can infect computer from USB Port. so if you want to deactivate USB Port. here is the way
- click Start -> Control Panel
- choose System
- click Hardware
- and click Device Manager
- And then click Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- choose Port USB that you want to Disabled
- then Right Click and Choose Disabled
